About Josh
I love this game! I've played baseball since I was a 5 year old with my Dad, brother and neighborhood kids. My first team was in a two team YMCA league. My team was the Tigers, and we played the other team, the Blueberries (yeah, nice name), twice a week for 2 months in that first Summer!
I played 3 years of little league ball in the North Boulder Little League and was on the league championship teams as an 11 yr old and again as a 12 year old. I then played for the Intermediate Colorado State Champions as a 13 year old and we represented Colorado in the Southwest Regionals, but we were crushed there by Texas.
From 11 to 12 years old I played every position with the Boulder Bison club team, and at 13 years with LYBA club in Louisville, CO. At 14, I began a 4 year stint of Summer and Fall ball with the Colorado Roughriders club team, predominantly at catcher, where we played all over the country.
I was the starting catcher on JV my freshman year and played every position that year at Niwot High School. In my sophomore year I manned the bullpen and backup catcher roles as well as backup 2nd baseman on the Varsity at Niwot. I won the starting Catcher job my Junior year, but Covid wrecked that season.
In my Senior season, I started every game at catcher for Turn 2 club in Niwot in the 2021 Spring season. I then started at catcher every game for Niwot Varsity (aside from 3 injury games) in the high school season. I made the 2021 Acedemic All State First Team.
Baseball is in my blood. I am looking forward to the next chapter in my baseball career. In the next four college years, I cannot wait to compete, be a part of a team, grow as a man and experience what God has planned for me.

I've had a great family, great coaches and great teammates. I would not change any of them. God has been good!

Moving on from the guys I went to war with is hard to do.
My parents are always there for me. I don't think they ever missed a game!
Coach Strah and Messinger were great mentors. They loved us AND baseball!
